Expect England to celebrate big if they win World Cup gold.

There are plans to declare a national holiday, reports The Guardian.

England are looking for World Cup success on the men’s side.

So far, it has only been a gold and it has been 60 years since the country was able to celebrate.

Prime Minister Keir Starmer is therefore said to be ready to declare a new national holiday if there is a World Cup gold, according to The Guardian.

Since England are “only” in the quarter-finals so far, Starmer does not want to answer the question yet.

The day that is pointed out

– When it comes to a holiday, I don’t want to be unlucky about it all, but ask me again if we make it to the final, he says.

The Guardian reports that it would most likely be July 24, which will be the national holiday. It is five days after the World Cup final and would give the national team time to return from New Jersey.

But they will not be welcomed back home by Starmer as he has chosen to resign as Prime Minister of Great Britain.

The Sun already revealed ahead of the championship that it has been planned for one of the Great Britain’s biggest ever victory parades at a World Cup gold medal.

England will face Norway in the World Cup quarter-finals and that match will be played on Saturday at 23:00, Swedish time.
