The European Union Aviation Safety Agency said on Wednesday that airlines should not operate flights in the airspace of Iran, Iraq and Lebanon, in light of the ongoing tensions and the possibility of more military operations after the United States and Iran launched attacks again.
The agency explained that its weather bulletin for Iran, Iraq, and Lebanon will remain in effect until August 31.
It also explained that it had withdrawn its previous bulletin, which had also asked airlines to exercise caution when flying in the airspace of Bahrain, Kuwait, Israel, Jordan, Qatar, Oman, the Emirates, and Saudi Arabia.
It was not immediately clear whether the agency would issue a new warning to those countries.

The latest warning from the agency comes after the Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced the targeting of… He said it was 85 American military facilities in Bahrain and Kuwait with missiles and drones, in response to American attacks on the south of the country last night. It was followed by the targeting of oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz.
The agency said that the implementation of the ceasefire between the United States and Iran is still fragile and that its recommendation is based on “the continued high level of tensions and the possibility of launching more military operations.”
The European agency added that if the current truce collapses, Iranian airspace will likely be exposed to “immediate threats.”
