Nightmare for Morocco.
Goal spotter Ismael Saibari was replaced injured in the first half against Canada.
– It’s a huge setback, says TV4 expert Hasse Backe in the broadcast.
The round of 16 was only 21 minutes long for Saibari.
After taking a hit in the first half, he lay down on the grass in pain a few minutes later.
The 25-year-old looked inconsolable as he lay on the grass receiving treatment for what appeared to be his right leg. He buried his face in his shirt and it was ruled that he could not play on.
He was able to walk off the field on his own and applauded the crowd with a sad expression on his face.
– It is sad for Saibari and Morocco, says TV4’s expert Jens Fjellström in the broadcast.
