Argentine star Lionel Messi, Inter Miami player, participated in a promotional advertisement for one of the largest American cinematic works, which will be shown at the end of this month.
Messi (39 years old) appeared in a video clip promoting the new part of the Spider-Man series, called “Spider-Man: Brand New Day.”
In the advertisement, Messi enters a café and finds himself face to face with Tom Holland, the main hero of the film, who is his regular character, Peter Parker.
In it, Messi admits that he joined the ongoing search campaign in the city for Spider-Man using a tracking device on his mobile phone.
Parker then disappears into a back room for a while, before suddenly appearing in his Spider-Man form.
In a scene in which Messi shows off his acting skills in Hollywood action movies to the utmost, according to the American network ESPN, he utters a few words before the two go on a tour through the spider webs in the center of the city.
The network said, “We can imagine what will happen now. This is the perfect beginning for the path of the new villain who will face Spider-Man. Forget Doctor Octopus and the Green Goblin, and welcome The Dribbler.”

The aforementioned film is scheduled to begin showing in American cinemas on July 31, and the producing company has already begun offering tickets for the show for sale.
Messi’s appearance in this promotional clip comes as an extension of a long series of his participation in other advertisements related to the World Cup tournament currently being held in the United States, Mexico, and Canada and continuing until July 19.
In the past few days and weeks, the Argentine national team captain has participated in huge-budget advertising campaigns for a variety of brands and products ahead of the start of the World Cup.
On the sports front, Messi and his team are preparing to continue the campaign to defend the title of the last edition, as “Tango” faces its counterpart, the Cape Verde national team, at Miami Stadium, next Saturday at 1:00 am Mecca and Doha time, as part of the Round of 32 competitions.
Messi played the three matches in the group stage against Algeria, Austria and Jordan, and did not play a full match except in the second, and in total he scored 6 goals, ranking him the top scorer in the tournament in partnership with French star Kylian Mbappe, who played one more match.
