Brazil–Norway 1–2
Norway advanced to the quarter-finals for the first time in WC history and Erling Haaland became, as usual, the hero. The striker scored both goals.

The start of the match was postponed an hour due to prevailing weather conditions, but when it did get underway there was drama at the Azteca Stadium.
Two penalties, a red card and two quick goals by Jude Bellingham were some of the ingredients that made the match one of the World Cup’s most entertaining.

One hundred thousand celebrated in Oslo
There was no question of sleeping after Norway’s historic victory against Brazil. According to the local police, hundreds of thousands of people were out on the streets in the central parts of Oslo.
Norway’s national team captain Ståle Solbakken believes that the party will last until the next match on Saturday.
– So I’m afraid for people’s health, says Solbakken.

Neymar retires from Brazil’s national team
Yes, the 34-year-old’s tearful words after the final whistle against Norway cannot be interpreted in any other way.
In a short interview with Globe stated Neymar that the national team career both began and ended at the Metlife Stadium in New Jersey.
– Now it’s over, says Neymar.
