There is a high risk of high levels of grass pollen in most of the country in the next few days. Now the levels of gray pollen are also expected to start to increase.
The warning for high concentrations, especially in case of lingering weather, applies to all of Götaland and Svealand as well as in the landscapes along the Norrland coast, according to the Nordic National Museum’s Pollenrapporten website.
In a stretch from Härjedalen and Jämtland up towards Norrbotten, the risk of high levels is elevated.
In areas next to tall grass, pollen levels generally increase around the country. Rain showers occasionally moderate the levels, but as soon as the sun comes out, they rise quickly, according to the site.
Now the flowering of gray nest is also starting and locally there may be little risk of high levels, mainly in the south.
The current assessment is valid through Wednesday.
