Israel’s military has destroyed a 200-meter-long tunnel in southern Lebanon built by Iran-backed Shiite militia Hezbollah, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz said in a joint statement.
At the same time, state-run Lebanese media reports on a number of attacks on Sunday.
The reports come despite Friday’s framework agreement between Israel, the US and Lebanon’s truncated government aimed at achieving peace in Lebanon.
