Then Haaland & Co switch North Carolina to Texas and hot to hot before their round of 16 final against the Ivory Coast on Tuesday.
At the same time, the Swedish national team leaves Dallas. But before they took off, they trained at the facility in Frisco, north of Dallas, and held a press briefing.
Then Viktor Gyökeres was asked if he had any advice for the Norwegians who come to Dallas to endure the heat.

– It takes a while to get used to, but it’s just a matter of enjoying the sun.
“Thrives in the heat”
Gyökeres, who makes huge runs in every game, has played 68 games in total this season, including non-stop in Sweden’s three World Cup games so far.
But the 28-year-old is not concerned about the physique this far into the tournament.
– It feels like you are enjoying the heat and in the USA. It feels good with the physics.
Mentally then?
– It’s good mentally. It becomes easier when you have changed environment now and you are here with the national team. You socialize with the team in a completely different way in a completely different environment. Now we will go to New York and New Jersey and play a playoff match against France. So it’s not a challenge mentally in that way, says Gyökeres.
