Today, Saturday, the Israeli occupation forces stormed a number of cities and towns in the occupied West Bank, including raids and arrests, in conjunction with attacks carried out by settlers in several areas.

The following are the most prominent incursions and raids carried out by the occupation forces during the past hours in West Bank cities:

  • In the city of Qalqilya, in the northern occupied West Bank, the occupation forces stormed the city through the main eastern entrance and deployed on Al-Wad Street, according to the Palestinian News Agency. Video clips showed military vehicles passing through one of the city’s streets, and no arrests were recorded during the raid.
  • And in Ramallah andbeerIsraeli forces stormed the city center of Ramallah and raided the town of Al-Mazraa Al-Sharqiya, east of the city. Settlers also stormed the town of Deir Jarir, northeast of Ramallah, under the protection of the occupation forces.
  • And in NablusIsraeli forces stormed the city through the Deir Sharaf and Al-Tur checkpoints, raided the popular housing neighborhood east of the city, and arrested the freed prisoner Awni Al-Shakhshir after raiding his home in the Kahraba housing, west of Nablus. They also arrested the young man, Ibrahim Al-Fino, during the storming of the old Askar camp, east of the city.
  • In Tubas, the occupation forces raided the town of Aqaba in the north of the governorate, and stormed a house. They also stormed the city of Tubas and carried out another raid, simultaneously with the storming of Al-Far’a camp in the south of the governorate. In Jenin, the occupation forces stormed the town of Qabatiya, south of the city.
  • In Qalqilya, Israeli forces stormed the town of Ezbet Salman, south of the governorate, and raided a number of citizens’ homes.

  • In the village of Al-Mughayir, east of Ramallah, video clips showed occupation soldiers assaulting a young Palestinian man during the storming.

Settler attacks

In a related context, three Palestinians were injured by rubber-coated metal bullets, and settlers stole four sheep in the village of Umm Safa, northwest of Ramallah.

The head of the Umm Safa Village Council, Marwan Sabah, said that settlers attacked the outskirts of the village and stole the sheep, and the residents confronted them, adding that the occupation forces fired rubber bullets during the storming, which led to the injury of three citizens.

He explained that the village is subject to continuous escalation, including attacks and settlement expansion, in light of restrictions on the residents’ access to their lands.
