Russian President Vladimir Putin has spoken on the phone with US President Donald Trump, the Kremlin says. They are said to have discussed the situation in Ukraine ahead of an upcoming NATO meeting.
“The presidents, of course, discussed the issue of an agreement in Ukraine,” stated Kremlin adviser Yuriy Ushakov, according to the Russian state news agency Ria Novosti.
Ukraine announced earlier on Saturday that the country’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had spoken with Trump.
