A serious fight broke out during Miriam Bryant’s gig at the Alive festival in Borlänge.
The pop artist temporarily canceled the concert.
“I was very close to ending the gig completely,” she writes on Instagram.
Miriam Bryant35, was Saturday’s attraction at the festival Alive in Borlänge. But the concert had to be interrupted temporarily due to a fight in the audience.
“Yesterday a serious fight broke out in front of the stage during our gig”, writes Miriam Bryant on Instagram.
She chose to cancel so that those in charge could deal with the situation.
“I was very close to ending the gig completely, but thanks to the security guards getting control of the situation, we were eventually able to continue,” she writes.
The concert resumed
Furthermore, Bryant credits her band and team for making sure she’s safe on tour.
“All concerts should be safe moments where we gather for music, community and the right kind of emotions when the rest of the world is bleeding, so it feels extra sad when this kind of thing happens,” she writes and continues:
“I am happy that the situation could be calmed down and that the evening could end safely.”
Patrik Schultz, CEO of Alive, confirms that there was an incident during the performance.
– It ended relatively quickly when she spoke. I think it was handled by security. It wasn’t a big drama, he says.
