A woman has been raped in Uppsala, the police say.
The alarm about the incident came just before midnight on Friday. The victim is a 25-year-old woman, according to the police, who otherwise do not want to give any details about the incident.
– We will work intensively on this right now, says Pelle Vamstad at the police’s Central Region.
The police have started a preliminary investigation with the crime classification of rape and are investigating the scene. No one was detained during Saturday morning.
