Royal Air Maroc announced the launch of an exceptional air program to transport fans to the Mexican city of Monterrey, to support the Atlas Lions in their next match scheduled for Monday, June 29, according to what the Moroccan News Agency reported.

Hamid Adou, President and General Manager of Royal Air Maroc, confirmed that the company, as the official carrier of the national team, was keen to mobilize all its capabilities in record time to meet the demand of the Moroccan fans wishing to stand behind the team, as happened during the group stage matches.

The program includes 12 exceptional flights, including 6 return flights from Casablanca to Monterrey between Saturday and Monday, and 6 return flights between Tuesday and Thursday, with a capacity exceeding 3,000 seats.

The company explained that this operation represents a precedent in the history of Royal Air Maroc, as it will be the first time that it provides direct flights to the city of Monterrey and to Mexico in general.

The flights will be operated by modern long-range aircraft, and the flight will take approximately 11 hours in each direction, while providing the best comfort and safety conditions for travelers.

Laram set the price of a round-trip ticket in economy class at 10,000 Moroccan dirhams (about 1,000 dollars), noting that the price is not subject to change or refund. The company also reminded those wishing to travel of the need to have a valid Mexican visa, or one of the valid visas for the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, or the Schengen countries, which also allow entry to Mexican territory.

This initiative comes as an extension of the logistical support that Royal Air Maroc has provided to fans since the start of the tournament, in an attempt to repeat the exceptional scenes created by Moroccan fans in the Qatar 2022 World Cup, and to continue the strong presence in the current edition of the World Cup.
