The city of Arlington, which is located in the American city of Dallas, witnessed a remarkable event during the “Jordan House” activities, where the city’s mayor, Jim Ross, appeared in a live meeting with the Jordanian fans and the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Imad Hijazin, in a festive atmosphere related to the 2026 World Cup.
The meeting, which was documented by a video clip posted by an activist on Facebook, reflects the large amount of public interaction with the events held on the sidelines of the world championship.

The Mayor of Arlington expressed great admiration for the enthusiastic atmosphere created by the Jordanian fans, praising what he described as the positive attendance and distinguished organization within the event.
During his speech, Jim Ross confirmed his aspiration to visit Jordan in the near future, with the aim of getting to know closely the tourist and cultural attractions that the country enjoys, in reference to the growing interest in cultural exchange between the two sides.
“Jordan House”… an international celebration platform
The “Jordan House” events were held at the Levitt Pavilion Theater in Arlington, and witnessed a large audience attendance, amid a festive atmosphere that reflects the Jordanian identity on the sidelines of the tournament.
The event turned into an attraction for visitors and fans, who came to enjoy cultural performances and promotional activities specific to Jordan, as part of interaction with the global football event.
For his part, Jordanian Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Imad Hijazin confirmed, in an interview with an activist, that Jordan’s participation in the World Cup represents an important opportunity to strengthen the tourism sector and attract visitors from various countries of the world.
He pointed out that organizing cultural events parallel to sports participation contributes to highlighting Jordan’s tourism and cultural image, and gives the world an opportunity to get to know the Kingdom from a different angle.
Historical participation of the starchy
The Jordanian national team is competing in this edition of the World Cup for the first time in its history, in a participation that is considered a prominent milestone in its football career.
The national team is preparing for a strong confrontation against the Argentine national team on Sunday, at the Arlington Stadium in the Dallas area, in the third round of the third group competitions.
The Jordanian team occupies last place in the group without any points, after losing in its previous two matches against Austria and Algeria, but it seeks to provide a strong performance and achieve a positive result at the end of the group stage against one of the most prominent teams in the world.
