Left-wing senator Iván Cepeda admits his defeat in the presidential election in Colombia.
Cepeda lost by 1 percentage point to his opponent, the right-wing politician Abelardo de la Espriella, who has been supported by US President Donald Trump.
The election victory for businessman and lawyer de la Espriella was secured by a margin of almost 251,000 votes.
Iván Cepeda and outgoing President Gustavo Petro initially did not accept the vote count and he said he wanted to await a review of the election results. But on Wednesday, Cepeda finally announced that he admits defeat.
