The Christian Democrats want to legislate a maximum ceiling of twelve children for groups of children between zero and three years old at preschool, writes KD leader Ebba Busch in a debate post in Aftonbladet.
– If you want a safe Sweden, we have to start with the children. There can be up to 19 children now and it is difficult to get time with each child to be seen and heard. We need to prioritize welfare, which is why we are putting out this election promise, says KD leader and energy minister Ebba Busch to SVT.
Ebba Busch sees the lower birth rates as an opportunity to get more space in the preschools.
– Don’t close the preschools, but instead enable fewer children in the toddler groups. We are prepared to support this from the state side, says Ebba Busch.
