A man has been arrested on suspicion of having tried to murder a woman in an apartment in Nässjö, reports P4 Jönköping.
A man in his 40s was arrested on Sunday night in Nässjö, suspected of having tried to murder a woman in an apartment. He is also suspected of attempted rape and unlawful detention.
The police were called to the apartment at 01:30, after a neighbor heard screaming and crying.
The woman has not been seriously physically injured, according to the police, and the neighbor’s alarm may have been decisive, according to the radio.
It is not known how the suspect reacts to the allegations. It is also not clear if the people know each other.
