The US and Iran have reached a peace agreement.
Now the Strait of Hormuz is to be opened, according to Donald Trump.
“Ships of the world, start the engines. Let the oil flow!”, he writes on Truth Social.
Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif initially stated that the US and Iran agree on a peace agreement.
“Both sides have declared an immediate and permanent cessation of military operations on all fronts, including in Lebanon. The official signing ceremony will take place on Friday, June 19 in Switzerland,” Sharif wrote on X, thanking all involved.
Soon after, Donald Trump went on Truth Social and declared that they were in agreement.
“The agreement with the Islamic Republic of Iran is now complete. Congratulations to everyone!”, he writes.
Now the Strait of Hormuz is to be opened.
“Ships of the world, start the engines. Let the oil flow!”.
Iran has not yet commented on the peace deal.
