Norway’s Crown Prince Haakon is skipping a government meeting at the palace on Friday due to his wife Mette-Marit’s illness.
According to the palace, the crown prince will adapt his program in the future “to facilitate being more together with the crown princess during this period”, writes Aftenposten.
Mette-Marit suffers from pulmonary fibrosis. A week ago it was announced that her health has deteriorated and that she is on the waiting list for a lung transplant.
In connection with that, it was announced that her health condition will have consequences for her husband and the family’s programs and activities.
