Jordanian left-back Muhammad Abu Ghosh joined his country’s roster participating in the 2026 World Cup as a replacement for striker Ibrahim Sabra, who suffered an injury to his left ankle during preparations, which necessitated his exclusion from coach Jamal Salami’s roster.

Striker Sabra (20 years old) suffered an injury during training for the Jordanian national team, which will prevent him from participating in the tournament that will start on Thursday, June 11 in North America. The team’s technical director, Jamal Salami, preferred to replace him with a player occupying a different position, namely left back Muhammad Abu Ghosh (21 years old), who won the Jordan Cup title with Al-Hussein Irbid Club, and who moved to its ranks on loan during the last winter transfer period, coming from the Jordanian Al-Shabab Club, and was chosen as the best.
