Former Moroccan international Mounir El Haddadi, a player for the Iranian Esteghlal team, confirmed that the Moroccan national team includes a distinguished group of young players capable of achieving great achievements in the FIFA World Cup this summer.
The Moroccan Championship website quoted Al-Haddadi’s statements to the DAZN network, where he said: “The Moroccan national team has many young players who are very good. They have great talent, and this has become clear now.”

He added: “I think that the Moroccan national team has a very strong composition, excellent players, and as we saw in the past, they performed well. They may not have been lucky in some moments, but they reached the furthest point.”

Al-Haddadi continued his speech, praising the ambitions of the Moroccan national team, saying: “I see that they have a strong team, and if things go well, they can reach the World Cup final and even win the title.”
In response to a question about a possible final between Spain and Morocco, and what his position would be, especially since he holds the citizenship of both countries, Al-Haddadi replied with a smile: “I hope for the best to win.”
It is noteworthy that the Moroccan national team, which was the first Arab and African team to advance to the semi-finals of the World Cup in the last edition in Qatar in 2022, is in the third group of the group stage in the World Cup, along with the national teams of Brazil, Scotland and Haiti.
