Host nation Canada’s journey in the World Cup continues.

A low-key round of 16 final flashed to life in the 92nd minute when Stephen Eustaquio made the match decider 1-0.

– I feel very happy. When I shot, it felt like everyone was shooting with me at the same time, he says.

Called a traitor – kissed the flag

The American Jesse Marsch is the national team captain for Canada.

During their matches, he has sung along to Canada’s national anthem, which has caused him to be painted as a “traitor” in the United States.

After Canada’s victory against South Africa, he kissed the Canadian flag on the jersey in front of the fans in Los Angeles.

Brazil star Vinícius Júnior became emotional on Brazilian television. He received a greeting from a special person and it made him cry.

Brazil will meet Japan in the round of 16 on Monday. The match kicks off at 19:00.
