Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that his government is committed to achieving security through the use of military force, indicating the adoption of a rule requiring the targeting of anyone who intends to attack Israel.
In a speech during the local government conference in Tel Aviv, he reviewed the features of his government’s military and political moves towards Gaza, Lebanon and Iran.
The Iranian file and the nuclear project
The Israeli Prime Minister considered that the possibility of Tehran obtaining nuclear weapons represents a direct existential threat to Israel.
He stressed his government’s commitment to prevent this from happening by all available means. In his speech, he stressed the following strategic axes:
- Preventing Iran from possessing a nuclear bomb during his term as head of the current government.
- Carrying out military and security operations inside Iran with the aim of thwarting its nuclear project.
- Removing the threat of destruction that threatened Israel, describing this move as the greatest achievement of his government in the current period.
Insulating safety belt
Regarding the field situation on the northern front, Netanyahu announced the start of practical measures to establish a buffer security belt in the southern Lebanon region.
According to him, this belt aims to prevent Hezbollah from launching attacks or carrying out infiltration operations towards Israeli settlements.
Netanyahu also pledged to provide protection for the Druze community, sending a message to the residents of the north to work to achieve economic development in their areas, and not to be satisfied with returning them to their homes after the end of military operations.

Gaza front and Rafah axis
Netanyahu defended his government’s previous military decisions regarding the Gaza Strip, stressing that the decision to enter the city of Rafah by land was a pivotal step that prevented the continuation of arming Hamas through the crossings.
The Israeli Prime Minister stressed that the path of confrontation is not over yet, and that there are military tasks that the army must accomplish in Gaza, Lebanon and Iran, according to a strategy based on initiative and directing pre-emptive strikes with the aim of changing the situation in the region.
