It wasn’t two “family constellations” that fought each other with the addition in Limhamn in Malmö yesterday.
Now the police go out and change their picture of the fight that led to three people being taken to hospital.
– We spread incorrect information. Det är inte bra, säger polisens presstalesperson Nils Norling.
“Two families who don’t like each other. Two larger family constellations. A family feud that has gone off the rails”.
That was the message from the police on Wednesday evening regarding what happened in Limhamn at around 7pm.
– Many people called and raised the alarm. My guess is that one of the callers said something like that and that we then passed that information on, says press spokesperson Nils Norling.
In fact, everyone involved must belong to the same family, he says.
How could it be so wrong?
– I can only regret that it turned out that way. It is deeply unfortunate.
Man arrested
Three people were taken to hospital. Two with serious, but not life-threatening, injuries. One with minor injuries.
During the morning, the police announced that a man in his 20s has been arrested on suspicion of two cases of attempted murder and a serious assault.
– We will hear him and the plaintiffs when possible, says Nils Norling.
