Israel has carried out an airstrike against the south-eastern parts of Lebanon, reports Lebanon’s state news agency NNA.
“Israeli warplanes carried out an air strike targeting the area between the southern Lebanese cities of Qantara and Deir Seryan,” writes NNA on Monday evening.
Israel’s military has not commented on the data on the airstrike.
On June 27, Israel and Lebanon entered into a first framework agreement that will eventually pave the way for peace and Israel’s partial withdrawal of forces.
Israel has carried out several attacks against what it claims are targets belonging to the Shiite militia Hezbollah in southern Lebanon since then.
