US President Donald Trump has previously been sentenced by a court to pay the equivalent of approximately SEK 56 million in damages in a civil case concerning, among other things, sexual abuse against the writer Elizabeth Jean Carroll in the 90s.
After an appeal was rejected by the Supreme Court just over a week ago, a judge has now decided that the money should be released to the author.
Trump’s lawyers say they will now appeal the decision on the payment.
