September 8 turns Carola Häggkvist 60 years – and the party will be big, writes the organizer in a press release. She celebrates her birthday at the classic Södra Teatern in Stockholm, the place where everything started when, as an 11-year-old, she won a talent competition with the song “Krokodilbarnets längtan”.
The day will be a double celebration. First private celebration with friends and family at Södra Teatern. Then she opens the gates to the audience with “Carolafest – Halfway to Heaven” on the Mosebacke terrace.
“Surprises”
At 19.30 she starts a birthday concert together with a six-piece band. According to the press release, Carola promises “an extraordinary concert with lots of surprises”. The tickets have been released.
