Several viewers reacted to the fact that the crowd looked thinner than usual during the evening’s “Allsång på skansen”.
But according to SVT, all seats were sold out.
– They are completely exhausted, says Henrik Stockare, executive producer at SVT.
When Aftonbladet chatted with viewers during the third episode of the season’s “Allsång på Skansen”, many people reacted to the fact that the audience looked thinner than during previous broadcasts.
Among other things, there was speculation as to whether it could be due to the worse weather forecast or to the fact that the broadcast coincided with World Cup matches.
But according to Henrik Stockare, executive producer at SVT, all seats were sold out.
– All the tickets for the actual broadcast of all the sing-alongs ran out almost at once, he says.
If the crowd still looked thinner, it may have been because fewer people were in the stands, he believes. SVT is not responsible for them, but is free for those who have an entrance ticket to Skansen.
– It’s just the entrance to the redoubt there. If it was sparser there, I’ll leave that unsaid, says Henrik Stockare and adds that he thinks the weather may have had an effect in that case.
When asked about the viewers’ reactions, he says:
– I can’t say they are wrong. I’m just saying that the seats were completely sold out.
