Chaotic scenes in Atlanta.

Egypt was furious after Argentina’s winning goal.

Afterwards, Mostafa Ziko sent some serious jabs and appeared to be pulled out of the interview.

Argentina is through to the World Cup quarter-finals after a huge turnaround.

When Enzo Fernandez put 3–2 against Egypt, the top cap went on the Egyptian bench.

Argentina had countered and Lautaro Martinez sent in a cross that Fernandez headed in. But in the Egyptian attack before that, Mohamed Salah had gone down near the penalty area and he and Egypt were calling for a penalty.

He didn’t get that and when Fernandez had scored there was more or less an atmosphere of rebellion on the bench.

Yellow cards were handed out right and left and, among other things, a leader on Egypt’s bench received a red card for rough protests.

Removed from the interview

Egypt had also had a goal disallowed earlier in the match and when Mostafa Ziko was interviewed on the pitch he had tears in his eyes.

There is no doubt that he was dissatisfied with the judges.

– I apologize to the people. We wanted to make them happy today. But we didn’t know what to do. It’s not in our hands but the judges’.

The reporter then says, according to TV4’s translation, the following:

– The tournament was already decided. The Egyptian people are happy and proud of you.

Ziko responds by sending what can be interpreted as a real dick to Fifa and the referees.

– Congratulations to Argentina and the WC title, he says before it looks like he is being pulled away from the interview.

“Fifa is probably the happiest”

Afterwards, TV4’s experts Irma Helin Zibanejad and John Guidetti discussed Ziko’s interview.

– Argentina are overjoyed, the people are very happy, but Fifa is probably the happiest. It couldn’t have gone better, says Helin Zibanejad.

– He is already congratulating Argentina on a World Cup gold and says that it is already settled. This is where the problem becomes. Argentina doesn’t want it this way either. Nobody wants that. It will be somewhat the same situation as what happened with the USA. We are heading in a direction that I do not appreciate and it will be problematic, says Guidetti.
