The Korean Peninsula witnessed a remarkable military escalation after North Korean leader Kim Jong Un supervised, from aboard the destroyer Kang Geun, the tests of launching a new strategic cruise missile, naval artillery weapons, and electronic warfare means.

It is scheduled to be stationed off the eastern coast of the Korean Peninsula.
