Happy engagement for Adam Woods and Märtha Rasch!
On Instagram, the Mello artist and Tiktok profile shows off her rings.
“I have known since the beginning of our relationship that Märtha is the one I want to marry,” Woods writes in a message to Aftonbladet.
In July 2024, the Mello artist revealed Adam Woods25, that he found love in the Tiktok profile Martha Rasch24.
The couple then told that they had met at the artists Samir Badran’s and Viktor Frisk’s release party. For Aftonbladet Woods described himself as “happier than ever” and said that the love grew every day.
Love seems to continue to blossom between the couple, who have now exchanged rings. On Instagram they share pictures from the engagement – where Adam Woods is seen getting down on one knee.
In the comments section, the couple receives warm congratulations. Among other things, writing Melodifestivalen-colleague Meira Omar: “So nice! Big congratulations.”
The drama before the proposal
In a message to Aftonbladet, Adam Woods writes that he planned the proposal for a long time, but that he wanted to find the right ring, place and moment. In the end, the choice fell on Lake Bled in Slovenia, a place that means a lot to Märtha Rasch.
But everything didn’t quite go according to plan. Märtha Rasch broke a nail and also fell ill the day before the proposal.
With the help of nail glue, Alvedon and her family were able to pull off the plan anyway.
“I was so nervous that my whole body was shaking when I took her up to the venue. But when we stood there overlooking the lake, surrounded by flowers, and I got down on one knee, it was all worth it. Hearing her say yes and seeing her reaction is without a doubt the greatest moment of my life,” writes Woods.
Adam Woods is a Swedish artist and songwriter, who has competed in Melodifestivalen twice. In 2023, he appeared together with Jon Henrik Fjällgren and Arc North with the song “Where You Are (Sávežan)”. The following year he made his debut as a solo artist with “Supernatural”.
