Hundreds of displaced Sudanese families face difficult humanitarian conditions, which is evident in the “Goz Al Salam” camp in the city of Kosti in the White Nile State, where people live without tents to shelter them and their children.

A displaced woman said that they were displaced to Goz Al Salam camp more than a month ago, and despite the promises they received to provide them with services, this has not happened yet, and she confirms that she and her children do not have a tent to sleep in.

She added that she and her children sometimes have to go to their neighbors who have tents, noting that they also do not have money.

Another displaced woman complained about the difficult conditions in which they were living, and confirmed that they were 10 individuals who did not have tents to shelter them, but she said that the camp was better for them than the place they were in, where there were bombings, clashes, and marches flying over their heads.

Another displaced woman, Suhair Hussein, expressed the severe suffering in the displacement camps. She said that she came about 3 months ago from the city of Dilling in South Kordofan State, but she faced major problems.

This woman added that she and her family suffered from thirst, hunger, the heat of the sun, and a lack of health services, and she also confirmed that she did not have a tent to shelter her.

One of the people in charge of Goz Al Salam camp confirmed that they have 800 families in need of shelter and food, and he appealed to international and local organizations to provide the aid and services they need.

It is noteworthy that the city of Dilling is facing a severe health crisis as the repercussions of the war continue and a number of health facilities stop serving.
