A man in his 80s has died in an accident between a car and a truck on national highway 86 in Ragunda, the police write on their website.
The police were called to the scene at around 2.30pm.
The car, which was driven by the man in his 80s, is said to have crashed into the truck.
A total of three people were involved in the accident. A second person who was traveling in the car was taken to hospital by ambulance. There are no reports of any serious injuries in that case, according to the police.
