In the middle of the London heat, Harry Styles collapsed on stage.
Now the concern is spreading among fans worldwide.
“I started crying,” writes a fan on social media.
Friday’s performance was the seventh of Harry Styles twelve concerts at Wembley Stadium in London.
The gigs are part of his world tour “Together, together tour” and clips of the star collapsing on stage during his song “As it was” are now being shared on social media.
Styles’ concerts have been held in London at the same time as a red heat warning a week was issued for southern England. Wembley Stadium has also relaxed the rules for water bottles in connection with Styles’ gigs, reports The Sun.
The clips from the gig show Harry Styles taking a break to drink water and squirting water out of his mouth, a “known” feature during his concerts. Shortly afterwards, he falls to the stage floor and begins to cough.
After a while, Harry Styles gets back to his feet and waves to the crowd. But the incident has sparked concern among fans on social media.
“Why didn’t anyone check on him?” writes a user on social media. “I was terrified,” writes another.
“Putting the water down the wrong throat is so painful, I can’t imagine experiencing it in front of 90,000 people,” writes another.
Harry Styles’ remaining concert dates at Wembley Stadium are June 27 and 29 and July 1, 3 and 4. London is the tour’s last stop in Europe. The “Together, together tour”, which includes six countries and seven cities, started in Amsterdam in May and ends in Sydney, Australia in December.
