Sweden has two world-class players in Alexander Isak and Viktor Gyökeres.

But according to Sportbladet’s expert Pontus Wernbloom, there is friction between the stars.

– Two big egos, says Wernbloom in the podcast Inside Blågult.

Most agree that the attacking duo Isak-Gyökeres must perform at their peak if Sweden is to have any chance in Tuesday’s round of 16 against France. The stars have found the net each time so far in the World Cup, but they have not always looked completely coordinated in Blue and Yellow – and Pontus Wernbloom senses a “friction” between them.

– Sometimes it feels like they shy away from matching each other, they are two rather big egos. I think there is a little friction between them, says Wernbloom in Sunday’s episode of the podcast Inside Blågult.

– But you (journalists) can’t ask about that, you don’t dare.

In the new episode, Wernbloom also sees the blue-eyedness of journalists, tells how Sweden will succeed in beating France – and compares Graham Potter to Hannibal Lecter.
