The scenes document the occurrence of 4 mortar shell explosions targeting the Israeli force operating in the place, and the sound of soldiers screaming is heard in the documentation as they request the urgent presence of a paramedic after one of them was injured in the abdomen area.

In the same context, the war media of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon announced on the 24th and 25th of the same month that it had targeted a gathering of Israeli army soldiers and vehicles in the border town of Maroun al-Ras with a missile launcher, in addition to targeting another gathering of soldiers in the Al-Zuhur neighborhood in the same town with artillery shells.

The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation indicated the details of the case of the injured soldier, called “Yerden,” who is 40 years old. He had previously spent hundreds of days in reserve service, and his health condition is still difficult as a result of his exposure to multiple injuries. He underwent several surgeries and began a rehabilitation journey that includes physical and psychological therapy sessions.

Severe medical and logistical failures

This axis constitutes the most important part of the report, as it reveals the presence of serious failures in the operational and medical system of the Israeli army. These failures represented the summoning of a 50-year-old volunteer doctor to deal with the incident without the availability of any basic life-saving medical equipment such as “plasma,” which prompted the doctor to obtain antibiotics personally to treat his soldiers. These failures within the reserve battalion are currently subject to an official investigation.

The report concludes by pointing out the harsh reality that injured soldiers live in, as the soldier returns after leaving the danger zone to find himself alone without work or a source of livelihood, and his personal and professional life is completely destroyed.

Israeli military data indicate that 36 officers and soldiers were killed in confrontations with Hezbollah fighters since the outbreak of the fighting on March 2.

This toll is accompanied by the injury of dozens of soldiers, as a result of Hezbollah intensifying its strikes through the use of suicide drones and massively directed missiles against concentrations of Israeli forces penetrating into Lebanese territory.
