“Top Gear” star Jeremy Clarkson recently underwent surgery for an aggressive form of prostate cancer.
Now he speaks out about his health.
– I am undoubtedly the world’s officially luckiest man, he says.
The British Television Profile Jeremy Clarkson underwent emergency heart surgery in October 2024. And last week it was revealed that last May he was diagnosed with an aggressivem of prostate cancer. He was therefore forced to have another operation.
Now he announces that the cancer is in remission, meaning that it has gone back.
– It was an aggressive cancer. It could have spread to the pancreas, it could have spread anywhere, and then there would have been serious problems, he says to the Sunday Times.
“Cheated death”
The news of his cancer came in an episode of the program “Clarkson’s farm”. In the episode, which was recorded in 2025, he spoke from his sickbed and stated that it will take a while for the body to function properly again.
In the interview with the Sunday Times, Clarkson expresses his joy at the outcome of the operation.
– I have cheated death twice. I am without a doubt the world’s officially luckiest man, he says, referring to the two emergency operations he has undergone in recent years, he says.

Clarkson has also posted a clip on his Instagram urging men to go get their prostates checked.
– You have probably noticed that I am not dead. The reason I feel well is that the doctors caught the prostate cancer at an early stage, and they caught it early because I tested myself, he says.
