Sweden’s most famous cat has disappeared.
Now Luffar-Lasse’s family is appealing for help to find him.
Tramp-Lasse15, has become Sweden’s most famous cat. His walks between his home in Björndalen, Trollhättan, and Överby shopping center have earned him both his own Facebook page with 118,000 followers and his own television program on SVT.
Tramp-Lasse has run away
Now Luffar-Lasse is gone.
“Help us find Lasse,” reads a post his family posted on his Facebook page.
Normally, Luffar-Lasse always has GPS on him, but this time he didn’t have it, which means that the family can’t locate him. The last thing they know is that he made his way towards Överby.
“Grateful for all the help we can get,” writes the mate Elin Karlsson in the post which, at the time of writing, has been shared over a thousand times.
Has been missing before
It’s not the first time the cat has run away. In 2023, he was missing for 11 days before being found again.
In 2024, he disappeared in the middle of Musikhjälpen where he had his own gun and then risked missing his own participation. But thanks to the public’s help, Luffar-Lasse could be found and he managed to collect over one million kroner.
