“Let’s dance” will return this autumn and several participants are already ready.
Aftonbladet can also reveal that David Hellenius is making a comeback as presenter – and he has Edvin Törnblom by his side.
– It will be so much fun, says a person with insight into the production.
It was in June last year that TV4 announced that they pauses his long-running track “Let’s dance”. Therefore, no new season was broadcast this spring.
– We have to review the format and see where in the tableau it works best. We will see if we should dispute the format further, said Ina Kokalari, press officer at TV4.
Now Aftonbladet can reveal that TV4 was serious about its promises. They are investing heavily in the new season which, according to information, will begin to be broadcast as early as August 21 and then will also be moved back to Fridays where it has originally been for all these years.
From 2020, TV4 chose to broadcast on Saturdays for fear of competition from SVT’s “Bäst i test”. They also skip letting the first programs be recorded like last year, instead everything will be live like last year.
Several participants ready
Aftonbladet can also reveal the participants who will try their luck in a cha-cha. The first two are the influencer Lisa Borg and the sense of humor Little Al-Fadji. The latter was in Melodifestivalen earlier this year with the contribution “Delulu”.
Apart from Lilla Al-Fadji and Lisa Borg, according to Aftonbladet’s information, the television profile is Julia Franzénthe physicist and astronaut Christer Birdsongthe track and field athlete Bianca Salmingthe tiktok profile Ludwig Blomqvistthe YouTuber Lovisa “Laki” Karlssonthe artist Martinus Gunnarsen and the skiing legend Peter Northug ready for the program.
Last year there were 15 participants. Now the channel returns to letting 10 profiles settle for the victory. The winner last year was the artist Theo Haraldsson together with the dancer Paulina Rosenkvist.
New juror
Aftonbladet can also reveal that the three-headed jury with Eric Saade, Taya Shawki and Tony Irving receives an addition in the form of the well-deserved “Let’s dance” profile Malin Watson. She was in the program as a professional dancer from the start in 2006 when she danced with Pepe Eng. She later won the competition in 2017 alongside the former soccer pro Jesper Blomqvist.
Another news should be that the influencer and the Tiktok profile Sebastian Tadros will follow the participants during the training weeks and have a major role in the program.
Hellenius makes a comeback
Last year’s presenter was Pär Lernström and Johanna Nordström. According to data now do David Hellenius comeback as presenter. He led “Let’s dance” from the start in 2006 until 2020.
Informant declares that Hellenius will have Edvin Törnblom by his side as substitute presenter in the finale last year when his podcast colleague and friend Johanna Nordström would celebrate her father’s 60th birthday abroad.
– They are completely ready for the program and it will be so much fun, says a person with insight into the production.
When Edvin Törnblom jumped in last year, he explained to Aftonbladet how much he likes “Let’s dance”.
– It feels so good, it’s a program you’ve followed over the years. I’m a huge fan.
Hellenius is also the presenter of “Masked singer”. Whether it is a mission he will continue with is unclear.
