Three people were killed and seven others were wounded on Monday in a shooting at a school in the southern Philippines.

The police said two attackers opened fire around 9 a.m. at San Jose National High School in Tacloban City. Both were arrested that afternoon.

The shooters, two ninth graders at the school, used a pistol and a revolver, Brig. Gen. Jason Capoy, the director of police in the Eastern Visayas Region, told a local radio station. He said the boys had reportedly been bullied at school.

The authorities did not immediately release details about the victims, but said that the wounded were in stable condition.
