She wants to become Sweden’s biggest female artist – and actor.
And start both a clothing brand and a make-up company.
But that’s not even half of all Rossa’s, 19, dreams.
– I have no dreams. I only have goals, says the Tiktok profile.
She describes herself as an influencer and an artist who primarily does Tiktok and makes songs that she believes people can relate to.
– There are songs where I explain what I’ve been through and difficulties I’ve had with, for example, friends, with people, with hate and people feel the same thing and can relate to it.
Rossa from Västerås has become something of a phenomenon on Tiktok in recent years, where she has around 80,000 followers. Several of her videos have millions of views and she has created several viral sounds in her videos that many others, not least other influencers, use further in their Tiktok videos.
In the comment fields you can see, among other things, how Zara Larsson has written “queen” to Rossa, who says the pop star has commented on her videos three times.
– I love it. It gives me more motivation to do what I love. I only get happy by seeing people comment positively, especially these influencers in Sweden. Zara Larsson is great and I love her. She is just gorgeous. I love her because she is just herself, says Rossa, and continues:
– And I’m always just myself.
Avoids the comment field
However, her comment section is not only positive, but rather a mix where some cheer her on while others wonder what she is up to.
– I almost never look at the comments. I just focus on making good videos for my fans. Some videos I completely ignore the comments, but if something gets a lot of likes and stuff, of course I want to check the comments, see what people have to say. But I don’t focus on the comments most of the time. I just try to avoid them.
She has released four songs so far, including “Dimma”, where she sings about the “haters” being just fog, and her new song “Move your body”.
– It’s a festive song, it’s summer and people want a summer song. I love it, it’s my favorite song I’ve done.
Rossa says she started writing songs when she was 15-16 years old.
– I love music, it’s my heart. I can’t breathe without music. I do everything myself, I’m independent.
What do you think about your songs going viral on Tiktok and also videos of you just talking?
– I’m just shocked. At the same time, it’s funny that people use the sound when I’m just talking. It’s absolutely insane. As soon as I do something, it becomes a trend. That’s what I’m known for. I’m just being myself, it’s just coming straight out of my mouth. I’m a strange person, she says and laughs.
What kind of response would you say you get from people in your life?
– Only my parents support me. And everyone else is just jealous.
Do your parents believe in your dream?
– Yes, 100 percent.
Want to build an empire
What do you most dream of for yourself in life?
– I have no dreams. I only have goals. I want to achieve all my goals. I don’t just have one. I have several. I want to be an international queen. I want to become the biggest female artist in Sweden. I want to be an actor. I want to build an empire. I want to open my own clothing brand. A cosmetic fire. And much else. What I mentioned is not even half of what I want to achieve. It is much more. Much more.
How is this going to happen, you think? Do you have any way forward in this?
– There is a lot on my mind right now. Although I want it to be a surprise for people.
It sounds like you want to be like Kim Kardashian?
– Yes! Kim Kardashian, Bianca Ingrosso, Cardi B, Zara Larsson. All of those.
