The Court of Appeal overturns a previous decision and Avicii’s former manager Arash “Ash” Pournouri can continue the litigation against four companies controlled by the artist’s family, writes Realtid.

“It feels very good that the case can now be tried in the district court. With the procedural legal basis being clarified, I look forward to a fair examination of the matter itself,” says Pournouri in a written comment to Realtid.

It was in March that the district court chose to close Pournouri’s lawsuit, directed against several companies controlled by Tim “Avicii” Berglings family.

The reason for the lawsuit is that Pournouri believes he has been singled out as responsible for Bergling’s mental illness and his suicide in 2018.
