Thomas Stenström38, will play his official WC song “Live forever” in the “Allsång på Skansen” premiere on June 23.

– I’m really looking forward to that, he says when Aftonbladet meets him at the press conference.

There has been an incredible amount of talk about that song. Did you expect that?

– I don’t understand what you mean, he jokes at first.

– I probably didn’t expect it to burn this much. But I have loved every second. It’s been the funnest weeks of my life since it came out. Nothing has been boring, every day has been bloody fun.

This is what he likes about the other songs

The song has been seen by manywho think it’s not peppy enough to be a World Cup song.

Have you read many of the reactions, or are you trying to avoid it?

– I have read, but it says the same after a while. It’s quite predictable after a few days. But I keep track of what people write and think and think. It’s been great that people think something, for once.

There have been many other, unofficial, WC songs. Have you listened to them?

– I haven’t had time to listen to everyone because there have been so many. So it’s hard to keep up. It’s teeming with them. I have heard some, but I have a lot to do. It’s a playlist that needs to be plowed through.

The company’s “There’s something in the air”, GES children’s new version of “När vi gräver guld i USA” and Brandsta City Släcker’s “All in för Sverige” are some of the unofficial World Cup songs that are high on Spotify’s top list.

– It’s great that a lot has arrived. Then people can choose whether they want Thomas Stenström or the Company or something like that. I think it will be perfect.

Self does he still love his own WC song.

– I’m damn happy with that song. I think it’s absolutely perfect, as a Thomas Stenström song too and as a football song. I love it.
