Qatari club Al-Sadd announced the departure of its Italian coach, Roberto Mancini, from leading the team.
Mancini took over as coach of Al Sadd in November 2025, and led the team in 25 matches, during which he achieved 17 victories and one draw, while losing 7 times, according to the Transfer Market statistical website.

Al-Sadd, through its account on the “X” platform, published a video of Mancini wearing a Al-Sadd shirt, thanking the club, its officials, fans and players, and announcing his departure.
The club wrote: “A short but precious time, full of wonderful memories. Thank you Mancini, and we hope that the story will continue one day.. All the best to you in your challenge.”

Al-Sadd did not indicate its new coach who will succeed Mancini in his job, noting that the Italian coach’s contract with the Qatari club extended until 2028.
