The air seems to have completely gone out of Felicia since the semifinals and the fact that Sweden is falling in the odds list. At the time of writing, Sweden is ranked 15th by the gambling companies.
While other competing artists pump out videos, greetings, crazy antics, thanks for support and calls to vote in their social media, Felicia has only posted two stories on her Instagram in the last two hours, one where she writes in Swedish that she got her lashes fixed and the other a repost from the girl who fixed her lashes.
On Tiktok, she has posted a few individual clips during the week, usually together with her dancers.
I get the feeling that her confidence is on the way to the bottom and that she has almost given up beforehand. Despite the fact that she did a fantastic jury rope on Monday and delivered nicely even on air.
For the past two days, she has canceled all interviews because she needed to rest her voice. It obviously affects the amount of material that is spread from others in the Eurovision world and then I would perhaps have thought that instead they tried to maximize what they could on their own to try to build some kind of momentum. But that has not happened.
WE have received an update from Felicia via SMS now before the first final general rep, where she writes that she will take it easy to then be able to give her all in the evening’s general rep, which is what is judged by the jury groups.
“Today I will focus on holding back a bit on the first rope and when it comes down to it I will do my best! So let’s hope it goes all the way hahaha. Today I feel much better than the last two days but my voice is still a little hoarse. I have never been as quiet as I have been these two days which has been so incredibly hard haha. Yesterday I had a great evening with the whole team and watched semi 2. Nice to see the other entries on stage!” she writes in the greeting.
There is no reason for Felicia to be depressed. She has done very well so far and if she can get back to the self-confidence she still had at the beginning of the week, I think the betting companies are underestimating her and Sweden. She and the song deserve to be top 10, at least!
