Navigational data monitored by the “Flight Radar” platform showed that US Air Force refueling aircraft issued a list of aircraft visible on the ground of Ben Gurion Airport in the city of Tel Aviv in central Israel.
Data analysis in the latest monitoring up to this hour showed the presence of 46 refueling planes belonging to the American forces on the ground of the Israeli airport out of 142 planes that recorded their appearance.

Meanwhile, Israeli Channel 12 reported that Ben Gurion Airport was witnessing a parking crisis due to American refueling planes, and added that planes belonging to the “El Al” company were now parked on the path adjacent to the take-off runway.

According to the analysis of navigational data conducted by the Open Sources Unit, American refueling aircraft constituted about 32.4% of the total sample monitored inside the airport, ahead of the “private owner” category, which appeared with 36 aircraft, and ahead of the Israeli “El Al” company, which appeared with 26 aircraft.
The comparison shows that the number of American refueling planes visible on the airport grounds is 20 more than the number of El Al planes, an indicator that reinforces the Israeli story of unusual pressure on parking spaces inside Ben Gurion.
The “Flight Radar” data does not mean that it counts all the planes inside the airport in absolute terms, as it relies on the planes appearing in the tracking data at the time of monitoring, but it provides a clear indication that American refueling planes have become the largest mass among the sample monitored on Ben Gurion Grounds.
These indicators intersect with a report published by Israeli Channel 12 last March, in which it explained that Israeli airlines are operating in Ben Gurion according to an emergency model aimed at reducing the time the planes stay on the ground, due to the lack of sufficient fortification of the planes.
The report quoted an El Al official as saying that the US Air Force is the most active entity at the airport at the present time, and that American refueling planes can be seen taking off and landing from Ben Gurion.
According to the same report, the Civil Aviation Authority restricted the landing rate at Ben Gurion to two planes per hour, while El Al is working to reduce the plane’s service time on the ground.
It should be noted that the United States of America has been using Ben Gurion Airport since the beginning of the war to mobilize its aircraft fleet, especially with regard to refueling aircraft, with the aim of supporting the military operations and strikes it has been carrying out against Iran since February 28.
