Limor Son Har Melech, Vice President of the Israeli Parliament (Knesset), called for the displacement of the residents of the Gaza Strip and the establishment of Israeli settlements there, during a field tour she took today, Sunday, on the borders of the Gaza Strip.
She said in a video she posted on her account, today, Sunday, on the “X” platform, “There is no security for Israel except through occupation, displacement, and settlement,” in a position that reflects the severity of this far-right MP’s statements toward the Palestinians.
She added in her speech, “I arrived at a tour of the Gaza envelope… Unfortunately, Israel is still captive to a wrong idea. There is no escape from occupation, displacement, and settlement. Any other solution is unworkable and will lead to another massacre.”
Her statements come at a time when medical sources confirmed the death of two Palestinians, including a child, today, Sunday, in separate Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, as part of daily violations of the ceasefire agreement in force since October 10, 2025.

Rooting settlement
In a position that seeks to reshape the geographical reality in the Gaza Strip, she said, “I looked at the Netzarim Corridor, which separates Gaza City from the central camps, and there is no escape from controlling it completely and creating settlement continuity in it to enhance security.”
During her tour near the Gaza border, Limor Son Har Melech spoke with settlers, assuring them that establishing settlements along the Gaza Strip is “the only way to guarantee the security of Israel and the residents of the Gaza Strip.”
She continued, “We are going through a difficult and complex process,” stressing that “there is no solution other than complete control of the Strip,” calling for the expulsion and displacement of residents who “are seeking to return to fighting.”

Limor Son Har Melech is considered one of the most prominent political figures on the extreme nationalist right inside Israel, and is known for her positions rejecting the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.
She had proposed a draft law imposing the death penalty by hanging on Palestinians convicted of killing Israelis. The Knesset approved this law on March 30, 2026.
