Mohamed Salah, the star of the English football team Liverpool, is scheduled to reveal his next destination “within a few days,” according to what a member of the Egyptian national team’s technical staff said on Tuesday.
The Egyptian international star announced his departure from Liverpool recently, after nine years spent with the Red Team, which he joined in June 2017 from Roma, Italy, to become available for free transfer at the end of the current season, as many clubs showed great interest in him.

Mohamed Murad, the media coordinator for the Egyptian national team, stated that the (Pharaohs) captain is about to announce his next destination, as this comes after Salah officially confirmed last month his departure from Liverpool at the end of the current season by terminating the contract by mutual consent, even though his contract was extending until 2027.
While the Saudi Professional League remains the most likely destination for Salah, according to circulating reports, his agent, Rami Abbas, kept the matter ambiguous, as he previously stated that “no one knows” where Salah will play next season. However, Murad says that an official announcement is imminent.
The FourFourTwo website quoted Murad as saying: “There are news reports that talk about Salah receiving offers from Italy, France and other big teams around the world, and this is of course true. He is a big star and will be a very good addition to any team.”
Murad added, “Whatever team Salah chooses, we will support him, and he has offers from Saudi Arabia as well. I think he will announce his next destination within a few days.”
Salah was injured during Liverpool’s 3-1 victory over its guest, Crystal Palace, in the English Premier League, last Saturday, which threatens to end his season with the red team early.
Ibrahim Hassan, the Egyptian national team manager, had previously revealed that the injury will require four weeks of treatment, which means Salah will actually be absent from Liverpool’s remaining matches in the English Premier League, but the club has not officially confirmed this yet.
Salah’s departure this summer represents a strong blow to Liverpool. Since joining the team, he has been able to consolidate his position as one of the greatest football players in history, scoring more than 250 goals and winning all the major titles available.
