Football fans are anticipating two high-caliber confrontations between Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich in the semi-finals of the Champions League.
Champion Saint-Germain will host Bayern Munich in the first leg tomorrow, Tuesday, at the Princes’ Park Stadium, and a few days later the confrontation between them will be renewed in the return leg at the Allianz Arena, specifically on May 6.

The Bavarian giant has a slight historical advantage over its Parisian counterpart, as the former won 9 previous matches while the other won 7 confrontations, out of 16 matches between them in all tournaments, according to data from the famous “Transfermarkt” website.
The two teams have previously faced each other 15 times in the prestigious European Championship, and only once outside the Old Continent, which was in the first expanded edition of the Club World Cup, in which Paris Saint-Germain won 2-0 in the quarter-finals.
History records a very important victory for Bayern Munich at the expense of Saint-Germain, and that was in the final of the 2019-2020 season, which took place at the Stadium of Light, the stronghold of Benfica, in which the Bavarian giant won with a single goal scored by its former player Kingsley Coman.
