Journalist Juan Ferlanich from the “Football Total” program on the “D Sports” network commented on the incident, saying that what happened was “incomprehensible,” pointing out that the player was injured while taking a penalty kick, and linked his lifestyle in the previous days to the injury, considering that lack of rest or neglect in physical care may be among the possible causes, as he put it, and not just bad luck.

He added that the player publishing those photos himself on his official Instagram website is what made the matter more controversial, instead of them being just leaked photos.
